RIA Review

After a few moments of oohing and ahhing over the fairytale castle facade of the Waldorf-Astoria, head to the third floor for a romantic evening at luxurious fine dining restaurant RIA. Chef Danny Grant dazzles with two elegant tasting menus: a four-course seasonal menu with courses like Maine lobster with asparagus, morels, and pastis for $110, and a seven-course chef's tasting menu with opulent dishes like scallop with caviar, octopus, and Fumé Blanc for $185. If the lush leather armchairs haven't helped you relax into a food coma, finish off with a nightcap in the 34-seat retro-inspired Bernard's Bar.
