Quaint accommodations lie within the gates of this 1833 town house, on the relatively quiet end of Bourbon Street. Rooms in the former slave quarters, off the lush brick patio with tropical plants, are pleasantly (if not elaborately) furnished and have ceiling fans. Two large suites with kitchenettes are in the main house. Be prepared for lots of stair climbing if your room is on one of the upper floors (the house doesn't have an elevator). All rooms have private entrances, kitchenettes, and baths. The quiet ambience will make you feel like you're staying in a private home.
