The canopied entrance to this small uptown hotel is almost hidden from view, squeezed between a restaurant and a café. The inn has good-size rooms, each with a dressing area and cable TV. Those in the front, with St. Charles Avenue views, are best. A Continental breakfast and a newspaper are brought to your room each morning, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. A great advantage of staying at this hotel is the spate of great restaurants within quick walking distance.
