Crescent City Farmers Market Review
Rub shoulders with New Orleans's chefs as they rush to pick up fish and meat orders before their restaurants open. Since 2000, when the market opened, more New Orleans restaurants have embraced the concept of buying and preparing locally produced food. A new chef is featured each month to prepare delicious lunch plates showcasing local and seasonal ingredients. Visitors can indulge in tasty treats like homemade popsicles, juice, and fresh-baked bread, as well as sampling the fresh local produce.
