This bed-and-breakfast is housed in the 19th-century Mouton Plantation, in a quiet residential area of Lafayette. An upstairs suite, which can accommodate five, has early Acadian antiques; downstairs, the Louisiana Empire and the Victorian suites both have queen-size beds. Breakfast is prepared by owner Marjorie Voorhies, and her husband, Coerte, conducts unusually informative nature excursions through the surrounding swamps.
