The Myrtles Review
If you don't mind a deep legacy of hauntings, the Myrtles is a pleasant and convenient place to stay, just a few miles beyond the center of St. Francisville. The guest rooms, which are on the second floor of the plantation house and a couple of outlying buildings, are all filled with antiques, and most have four-poster beds. A tour of the house is included in your stay, as is a continental breakfast served beside the gift shop. In nice weather, many guests opt for the outdoor tables behind the house. The fine Carriage House Restaurant, which serves excellent lunches and dinners is another good reason to stay here.
