Side Trips from New Orleans Restaurants

Mike Anderson's

Mike Anderson's Review

This busy seafood spot manages to be a lot of things to a lot of people: first-daters, families, groups of friends, and solo diners all find a warm welcome here. Locals of every stripe praise the seafood, and it is true that the food is good, fresh, served in large portions, and consistent. The fried seafood platter— shrimp, oysters, crawfish tails, catfish, and stuffed crab served with onion rings, hush puppies, and a choice of salad or various coleslaws—is your best bet.
