Williams College Museum of Art Review
The collections at this fine museum focus on American and 20th-century art. One of the country's best college art museums, the WCMA's 14,000 objects also span a range of eras and cultures. The original octagonal structure facing Main Street was built as a library in 1846, and the rainbow wall-painting above the stairs is a Sol LeWitt, painted in situ in 2001.
