Religious Sites, Back Bay
Fodor's Review:
Built in 1860, this Back Bay brownstone Gothic Episcopal church is popular among classical music-loving worshippers -- every Sunday at 10 AM from September to May, as part of the liturgy, a Bach cantata is performed by Emmanuel Music with Craig Smith conducting; guest conductors have included Christopher Hogwood and Seiji Ozawa. Inside the church is the Leslie Lindsey Chapel -- a neo-Gothic memorial created by parents in memory of their daughter, a young bride who perished with her husband during their 1915 honeymoon voyage on the Lusitania.
