The Barnstable Comedy Club, the Cape's oldest amateur theater group, gives much-praised musical and dramatic performances throughout the year. Folks who appeared here before they made it big include Geena Davis, Frances McDormand, and Kurt Vonnegut, a past president of the BCC.
