Comprising two distinct properties, the Winstead Inn and Beach Resort offer a two-for-one Cape Cod experience: Harking back to an earlier era, the airy, attractive Beach Resort sits on a private beach overlooking Nantucket Sound, and you can gaze at the sweep of coast and surrounding grasslands while enjoying a generous Continental breakfast from rockers and umbrella tables on the deck and wraparound porches; at the other end of the spectrum, the Winstead Inn sits along a quiet street on the edge of downtown. Greenery surrounds this Gothic Victorian house, and many of the rooms have a view of the heated, saltwater outdoor pool, a real oasis with potted palms, fountains, and flowers.
