Officer's Quarters

Fodor's Review:

Built in 1887 for a sea captain, this stately, white, mansard-roof Victorian is only a short walk from the center of town and is across the street from Provincetown Bay. The owners have done a wonderful job adding their own touches while maintaining this B&B's outstanding reputation. Room 3, done in vibrant reds, has a four-poster bed, a gas fireplace, and private access to the garden. Most rooms have water views; some have private decks. Pros: Handsome 1880s sea captain's home, some pets allowed, great central location. Cons: Right in center of action, rather intimate with just 6 rooms so not ideal if you're seeking anonymity, significant minimum-stay requirements in summer.

  • Hotel Details: 6 rooms
  • In-room: refrigerator, DVD (some), Wi-Fi.
  • In-hotel: some pets allowed (fee).
  • Rate includes: Continental breakfast
  • Credit Cards: AE, D, MC, V
