$-$$$, Eclectic, Provincetown
Fodor's Review:
A dependable, year-round East Ender that sits directly over the bay and offers fine water views, Fanizzi's presents a varied menu strong on well-prepared comfort food (including a memorable chicken potpie and juicy burgers), but often with a few creative twists. The baked cod is served with a tangy coating of almonds and mustard, and the hearty roasted half chicken is glazed with fresh garlic, lemon juice, rosemary, and thyme. You can order burgers and substantive dinner salads, including a fine salmon Caesar. The dining room, lined with large windows, is softly lighted and casual. Sunday brunch is a favorite with locals.
