Moonakis Café Review

Breakfast gets high marks at this humble roadside diner. You'll find all the standards and then some—eggs, pancakes, fruit salad—all nicely done. The chunky hash browns are fried with just the right amount of onions, and if the omelet with roasted tomatoes, olives, and goat cheese is on the menu, it's an excellent choice. Also recommended (if you're not on a diet) are the decadent Belgian waffles buried under strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream. Lunch is burgers, sandwiches, and salads at rock-bottom prices.

    The Soup Nazi Lives!

This is a friendly mom and pop breakfast and lunch place in a non descript section of Falmouth that could be run by Aunt Bee. The food is uniformly basic, all American but very good and wholesome. However, the main reason to come here is the home made quohog chowder served daily for lunch. It is simply the best in the Universe. Ladies - take your men here for the chowder - they will be eternally grateful! I have had clam or quohog chowder at all the "best places" -nothing comes close to this. Trust me.
