Inn at the Oaks Review

If it weren't for this three-story inn's vivid-yellow paint job, it would be lost among the trees, even though it's right along U.S. 6. Victorian touches at this 19th-century refuge include graceful high ceilings and intricate interior wood molding. Each room has antiques, brass beds, and soft down comforters, plus a few modern amenities such as DVD players; some have claw-foot tubs, which are great to slide into after a day at the beach. Whale-watching, biking, and "adventure" packages are available. The inn is very child-friendly, with both indoor and outdoor play areas.
