Whalewalk Inn & Spa Review

This 1830 whaling master's home, on three landscaped acres, has wide-board pine floors, fireplaces, and 19th-century country antiques to provide historical appeal; rooms in the main inn have four-poster queen- or king-size beds and antique or reproduction furniture, and there are suites with fully equipped kitchens in the converted barn and guesthouse. A secluded saltbox cottage has a fireplace, kitchen, and private patio and deluxe rooms in the carriage house have fireplaces, hot tubs, and private patios or balconies. The property also has an opulent state-of-the-art spa, complete with a small resistance pool and fitness center. Breakfast is served in the cheerful sunroom or on the garden patio.
