Winslow's Tavern Review

This 1805 Federal-style captain's house contains five dining rooms; try for a table on the porch overlooking the center of town. The kitchen specializes in bistro-inspired seafood, mostly with American and Mediterranean preparations. Bacon-wrapped scallops with mango chutney and grilled lobster with sweet-corn relish rank among the better dishes. Head to the cozy lounge upstairs for live music Thursday through Sunday night in July and August. It's filled with plush sofas and tables lit by flickering candles.

    A WINNER!

Ate here three times in one week. Food is great-simple and fresh with interesting flourishes and exciting specials. Nothing haute or pretentious(who wants that on vacation?). Place was a little loud but wouldn't expect anything less since it was jam-packed. Very well priced. Don't miss it!

Horrible service, average food, way too loud The owners also own Moby Dick's where they triple batter their seafood. I know this because my friend worked there for years.
