McGann's calls itself "a touch of Ireland on Cape Cod," and the McGann family should know -- they also have a pub in the town of Doolin, County Galway, Ireland. The place has the slightly frayed grit of an Irish country tavern, and the filling if heavy bar food comes with an Irish twist: Irish-style fish-and-chips, or Gaelic chicken in an Irish whiskey-and-bacon sauce, for example. Though Guinness reigns, the bar has 20 beers on draft. There's live music Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; Thursday is karaoke night.
