Jimmy's Hideaway

Jimmy's Hideaway Review

Down a set of stairs from Commerical Street, this spot is a cool, dark oasis. Rich wood, stained glass, and low lighting makes the place very welcoming. Diners rave about appetizers like the beef Wellington and the grilled oysters. The menu includes plenty of seafood options, including Portuguese cod, pan seared and topped with linguica, kale, kidney beans, and roasted tomatoes—a tasty nod to the area's heritage. A small but lower-priced tavern menu includes burgers, fish, and pasta.
