Barnstable Restaurant & Tavern Review
This handsome old building right in the village center across from the courthouse, holds both a formal restaurant and a more relaxed tavern. Fresh seafood dishes and the chef's rich pasta dishes are local favorites. Lighter lunch fare includes the much heralded Tavern Burger—topped with smoked bacon, caramelized onions, roasted mushrooms, and cheddar cheese—as well as salads and sandwiches. Look for live music on the patio Friday evening.
