Mattakeese Wharf

Mattakeese Wharf Review

Propped above the tides on sturdy wooden pilings, this weathered old building looks as if it's been here forever. Views of passing boats are visible from every seat in the house; the best get the benefit of golden sunsets beyond. Aside from the splendid location, seafood is the big draw at this nautical-themed spot, which is often packed with locals and visitors alike. House favorites include the giant lobster rolls and the pasta with sautéed seafood. Many prefer the expansive bar, where you can enjoy a cold beer and a bowl of local steamers. Sunday brunch is popular.
