Glass Onion

Glass Onion Review

This classy yet comfortable dinner-only spot has created a buzz among diners who appreciate that everything from the yeasty rosemary bread to the fresh mint ice cream is made in house, sourced whenever possible from local providers. Candlelight reflects off sage-green walls and the original 1926 street-front windows. A handsome coffered ceiling and heavy mirrors create a sophisticated, clubby atmosphere. Favorites on the constantly changing menu include lobster strudel with mascarpone and lobster butter sauce, and seafood risotto with cod and little neck clams in a chowder broth. Leave room for the sumptuous desserts, such as the chocolate terrine with raspberry-thyme sorbet.
