Not just another roadside lobster shack with buoys and nets for decoration, this place is serious about its fresh seafood. It's both a great place to pick up ingredients to cook at home -- there's a fish and produce market on-site -- and a good bet for dining out on such favorites as fish-and-chips, fried scallops, and lobster. The market also sells homemade pies, breads, soups, stews, and pasta.

Biggest lobster roll I've ever seen, and loaded with mayo. Yum yum! Amazing! Can't wait to return this summer!
But I'll admit it, now that I've been living away from the Northeast for several years, I no longer find Capers as cute as they constantly scowl or roll their eyes or mutter under their breath at the summer people.
I remember trying to make brief cordial conversation with an employee at this particular market/clam shack, and got a cold look and silence in return.
Few Cape businesses should have the word "friendly" in it as far as I'm concerned. It gets worse every year. And then theses places have the nerve to set up a "Tips" bucket out on the counter ...
But anyway, the lobster roll here is great ...
