Blue Canoe Waterfront Grill

Blue Canoe Waterfront Grill Review

With its front-row view of Vineyard Harbor, this spot lets you enjoy passing boats and nightly sunsets. It's not just the scenery that draws folks here for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. Chef Nick Wilson, like many on the island, is a strong advocate for using local ingredients, whether they be from the sea or the land. Start with the large and meaty crab cakes, then try the catch of the day served with wild-mushroom gnocchi and a butter-sage sauce. There's a nice selection of salads and sandwiches for lunch; the goat-cheese spinach salad is a favorite. A slightly different brunch option is the chicken and waffles served with chipotle-maple syrup.
