The Chanticleer Review

A beloved institution for several decades, this rose-covered landmark has benefited from the new reign of owner Susan Handy (of Black-Eyed Susan's in town). The setting and service remain as elegant as ever, but chef Jeff Worster's haute-brasserie menu is looser and livelier. World-cuisine elements seep in—the ginger aioli jazzing up a "cocktail" of mango and lobster—but solid French technique supports the expert execution of such classics as a local flounder meunière. The outdoor tables, tucked beneath flowery pergolas, remain the most coveted perch.

Perfect place for the perfect meal

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous meal in their garden for our anniversary. The atmosphere could not have been more romantic, the service was impecable & the food melt in your mouth. 5 stars without a doubt.
