Pilgrim Hall Museum

Pilgrim Hall Museum Review

From the waterfront sights it's a short walk to one of the country's oldest public museums. Established in 1824, Pilgrim Hall Museum transports you back to the time of the Pilgrims' landing with objects carried by those weary travelers to the New World. Included are a carved chest, a remarkably well-preserved wicker cradle, Myles Standish's sword, John Alden's Bible, American Indian artifacts, and the remains of the Sparrow Hawk, a sailing ship that was wrecked in 1626.
