Antonio's Review

Expect the wait to be long and the dining room to be loud, but it's worth the hassle to sample the traditional fare of New Bedford's large Portuguese population at this friendly, unadorned restaurant. Dishes include hearty portions of pork and shellfish stew, bacalau (salt cod), and grilled sardines, often on plates piled high with crispy fried potatoes and rice.
