Strip House Review

The success of this lavish but cheeky steak joint suggests that bordello-chic is still fashionable in Vegas these days (after all, the place is next to PEEPSHOW). Inside, red brocade walls hung with dozens of vintage black-and-white boudoir photos suggest you're inside a house of ill repute, while a menu of artfully presented chops and classic American foods hints of great things from the kitchen. Appetizers such as lump crab cake and lobster bisque make worthy starters. And the main dishes—veal T-bones, filet mignon, Colorado lamb rack—don't disappoint. For a side, try the potatoes cooked with goose fat. The 24-layer chocolate cake makes for a fittingly decadent end to your meal.

    Early dinner @striphouse

    We went to an early dinner at striphouse on a weekday evening. It was very dark in the restaurant and there were only a few other tables filled when we got there. The waiter was friendly enough, but talked kind of quietly and quickly through the specials, so even after he repeated them for us, there were ones we didnt catch. Would have been nice to have an actual specials menu or board. The goose fat potatoes were very good. The cajun pork chop and steak that we got had good flavor. Prices maybe higher than need be, but this is a steakhouse in vegas. The 24 layer choc. cake was a little to much for us to finish after our meal.
