The Inn at Pleasant Lake Review
This 1790s inn lies across Pleasant Lake from majestic Mt. Kearsarge. Its spacious rooms have country antiques and modern bathrooms. The restaurant ($$$$; reservations essential) presents a prix-fixe menu that changes nightly but draws raves for such entrées as roasted rack of Australian lamb with a mushroom sauce and such desserts as fresh berries covered in a dark chocolate sauce. Afternoon tea and full breakfast are included.
