Ram's Head Inn Review

One of New Jersey's top restaurants, this pastoral yet formal retreat is 8 mi from Atlantic City. It's filled with the works of local artists and soft piano music plays as you enjoy drinks by the fireplace. In season, you can dine outdoors in a flower-filled courtyard with a fountain. Try creamy chicken potpie with dumplings in a copper kettle, crispy roasted half duck with cranberry sauce, and Chateaubriand for two. If the fruits and vegetables taste especially fresh, it's because many are sourced locally from the owners' Pleasantdale Farm. At the bar, the happy hour from 5-7 (except for Sat.) features half-priced wine, $3 beers, and a nice selection of affordable burgers, salads, and small bites.

    Fabulous!

My husband and I always have dinner at the Ram's Head for special occasions. Their duck is incredible and the atmosphere romantic.
