Albuquerque Sights

Unser Racing Museum Review

Albuquerque is home to the illustrious auto-racing family, the Unsers, whose four generations of drivers have dominated the sport since the early 20th century—the most famous members include Bobby Unser Sr. and Al Unser Sr. Exhibits at this spiffy museum include a display on Pikes Peak, Colorado, and the legendary hairpins where the Unser family first got serious about racing; a study of their legacy at the Indianapolis 500; and a good selection of vintage racers, including a few you can test-drive (virtually, that is).
