Shidoni Foundry and Galleries Review
Shidoni Foundry and Galleries casts work for established and emerging artists from all over North America. On the grounds of an old chicken ranch, Shidoni has a rambling sculpture garden and a gallery. Self-guided foundry tours are permitted Saturday 9 to 5 and weekdays noon to 1, but the sculpture garden is open daily during daylight hours; you can watch bronze pourings most Saturday afternoons. This is a dream of a place to expose your kids to large-scale art and enjoy a lovely and, in this area, rare expanse of green grass at the same time.
