Winter storm Niko is turning out to be New York City’s biggest headache. Over 1,700 flights have already been cancelled, and there are delays on Amtrak, Long Island Railroad, Metro-North, and New Jersey Transit.
With something called a “bombogenesis” (a rapid pressure drop), this storm is expected to get a lot worse before it gets better. However, there’s some good news for stranded travelers. If your travel plans have been cancelled because of the storm, The Bernic Hotel, a brand-new boutique hotel in Manhattan, is offering a 25% discount.
To book a cancellation reservation, call the hotel’s reservation hotline (844) 885-2376 or email curator@thebernichotel.
