Fodor's Review:
Midtown is the new downtown in this gorgeous building, where more than 500 works of art hang, and each guest-room floor features a mural. Loftlike rooms with hand-troweled concrete walls are decorated warmly, and the bathroom floors of poured concrete shimmer with glass mosaic tiles. After entering through the magnificent carved teak doors and passing through the intimate yet grand lobby with soaring ceilings, double-sided fireplace, and attractive staff, head downstairs to the restaurant Town, which also provides room service, for one of the most sublime culinary experiences around.
