Hummus Place

Hummus Place Review

New York's preeminent hummus parlor—now with three Manhattan locations—elevates the classic party dip to a substantial meal. The warm puree, made from chickpeas mashed fresh daily, is served Tel Aviv-style with pillowy pita and your choice of vegetarian toppings (try the super-savory fava-bean stew with a hard-boiled egg and plenty of hot sauce). Other menu options include soup, salads, babaganoush, felafel, and a delicious eggplant sandwich. Wine and beer is available, too, if you eat in.
