Embassy Suites Hotel New York

$-$$$, Lower Manhattan

User Rating: ***** 4.6

Fodor's Review:

Directly across from the World Trade Center site is Manhattan's first Embassy Suites Hotel. As the name suggests, every one of the modern rooms here is at least a one-bedroom suite, with a living area that includes a pull-out sofa, dining table, and microwave oven. Not only is this hotel practical and reasonably priced, but it's also unusually attractive with original contemporary artwork in the atrium and lobby. Take advantage of the complimentary evening cocktail reception and breakfast bonanza.

Still and Excellent Hotel

Posted by Monadnock from New England on 4/25/06

We stayed for a long weekend recently; the hotel is excellent in every way: staff, cleanliness, service. Bright and cheerful, shopping nearby, always cabs available. The only comment is that the refrigerator is actually a mini-bar; you couldn't really put anything into it.
