Rue Franklin Review

A tried-and-true spot for an excellent meal, Rue Franklin has a changing menu with French and contemporary Continental fare, such as braised short ribs in a red-wine sauce or skate in a soy-beurre blanc sauce. French doors open onto a beautiful landscaped courtyard for summer dining. The hushed interior of this sophisticated restaurant, with soft colors and swagged windows, is just as pretty.

    Great dining

    At times, this has been the only French restaurant in Buffalo. While that's no longer the case, it still appears to be the best. Superb food, impeccable service, although more formal (and expensive) than many of the places we go to... still a nice experience. The owner is ever present. Lately she has been experimenting with a few "less French" items on the menu. Outdoor patio is wonderful in season.
