Clarkson House Review

This local institution occupies an antiques-filled 19th-century building. Cloth-covered tables contrast with hardwood floors and old wood beams. The menu blends contemporary, American, and Continental dishes; steaks—New York strip and Kobe flatiron among them—are a specialty. You have a large choice of starters, such as shrimp cocktail, baked Brie, crab cakes, and teriyaki tenderloin skewers. Reservations are essential on weekends.

    Clarkson House Review

    Clarkson House closed two or three years ago. It's now an Italian restaurant called Macri's, which my in-laws from Lewiston, and my wife, don't like, but I can't rate it, as I've not been there.
