Loretta Charles' Natural Wood Grill Review
Most dishes at this new American restaurant overlooking Esopus Creek involve seafood. The dining room is rustic, with a wood-burning fireplace and picture windows overlooking the water. The blackboard menu, which changes weekly, might include Thai-style grilled shrimp with chilies and garlic, served with basmati rice. The food is all grilled over hickory and cherrywood, and entrées come with at least four vegetables. A piano player entertains at an upright in the dining room Friday and Saturday nights.
