The Historic Union Hotel Review

Cast-iron Victorian lampposts frame the entrance to this three-story, redbrick building, its white trim standing out against the red like icing on a cake. The Union Hotel, about 14 mi south of La Grande, offers 16 elegant, individually themed rooms. The forest-green Northwest Room has a kitchenette and a jetted tub for two; the Davis Bros.' Room comes with a wood-paneled shower with double showerheads; and for large parties up to 6, the Huffman Suite has a full kitchen. Per owners Dave and Rob, the best part of the hotel is "the guests."

    The Historic Union Hotel Review

    This hotel looks nothing like the pictures on its website. It is run down, grimy, reception area was cluttered, room looked nothing like the picture, there were broken windows in the back. In fact, it was so bad, we refused to stay there.
