Mother's Bistro & Bar Review

The menu is loaded with comfort food and home-style favorites—macaroni and cheese with extra ingredients of the day, soups, pierogi, pot roast, and meat loaf. For vegetarians there's an array of salads and the veggie tofu stir fry. The high ceilings in the well-lit dining room lend an air of spaciousness, but the tables are a bit close together. The Velvet Lounge bar is open an hour later Friday and Saturday. Reservations are recommended.

    Big Portions

    We had breakfast twice and dinner once there. We were never disappointed. They have the best biscuits and gravy! Fun atmosphere and lively. I could eat there everyday!

    Busy!

    We were there for Thanksgiving and had good food. It was rushed, and somewhat impersonal. Our neighbors in the small dining room were having a family celebration which was fun, though.

    Great first date place

    If your looking for a semi-formal casual place to eat then this is the place to go they have really great dinner and lunch too but lunch is not served after 2pm because the place closes after that too prep for dinner I have been going there on and off since 2005 and everytime I go there have a good experiance.

    Great Breakfast

    The service was good. We had the French Toast & the Salmon Hash, both very tasty.
