Roseburg

Getting Here

Roseburg is the first large town you'll reach driving south from Eugene on Interstate 5. It's also a main access point into southern Oregon via Hwy. 138 if you're approaching from the east, either by way of Crater Lake or U.S. 97, which leads down from Bend. And from the Bandon-Coos Bay region of the Oregon Coast, windy but picturesque Hwy. 42 leads to just south of Roseburg. It's a 75-mi drive north to Eugene's airport, and a 95-mi drive south to Rogue Valley Airport in Medford. Attractions in the region are spread over a large area—a car is a must.
