McMenamins Edgefield Review

Set in 74 acres of gardens, murals, orchards, and vineyards, this Georgian Revival manor is what the Four Seasons would be if it were operated by dreamers and Deadheads—which essentially describes Northwest brewers and hospitality innovators par excellence Mike and Brian McMenamin. There are three restaurants and nine bars, with pool halls, distilleries, and tiny wine sheds tucked away in unexpected places. Ruby's Spa offers an amplitude of treatments, and all guests have access to the outdoor soaking pool. Edegefield is a western treasure, and even the most uptight vacationer can't help but get swept up in it's mellow, bohemian vibe. Make advance reservations for the Black Rabbit restaurant and Ruby's Spa.
