Celilo Inn Review

On a hill overlooking the Columbia, The Dalles Dam, and Mt. Hood, the Celilo benefits from a knockout concept: It's a prototypical motor lodge gone high-design, with exterior-entry rooms and a '50s light-up motel sign that disguise the hotel's slick, boutique feel. Flat-screen TVs, pillow-top mattresses, and smart decorating come standard, and the outdoor pool is mighty inviting during The Dalles' dry summers. Live weekend music on the patio and loaner mountain bikes also sweeten the deal in summertime.
