The chef at the island's premier restaurant for American cuisine uses herbs and vegetables from the hotel's garden and locally caught seafood to prepare superb dishes such as lobster johnnycakes with sweet corn salsa and fennel pollen butter or grilled swordfish with lobster mashed potatoes and a lemon beurre blanc. Fans of red meat appreciate the tandoori beef tenderloin skewers with chickpea salad, grilled naan, and raita, or the kalbi braised short ribs with house-made kimchi, garlicky spinach, and sushi rice. A wide selection of small plates make this a place to splurge without breaking the bank, and the garden seating around a fountain is tranquil.
