Sakonnet Vineyard Review

The plantable 50 acres at this vineyard produce about 20,000 cases a year, including an award-winning crisp, tarty peach-lemon flavored Vidal Blanc and a dark fruity blend of cabernet franc and chancellor-named Rhode Island Red. For $10, you can enjoy a tasting of six different wines and keep the glass. Free tours are daily at noon and 3 pm. The Coop Cafe serving lighter fare is open Friday through Sunday Memorial Day through Columbus Day.
