Providence Restaurants

Providence is small enough that you can easily reach every neighborhood from any other, making restaurant locations less of a factor than in larger cities. That said, there are certain areas that discriminating diners shouldn't miss, such as Federal Hill's Little Italy area along Atwells Avenue, the hip international restaurants of Fox Point along Wickenden Street and South Water Street, the dapper neighborhood bistros and cafés north and east of Brown and RISD, and the swanky dining spots clustered along the riverfront downtown, near Providence Place mall.
