East Beach

East Beach Review

This unspoiled narrow barrier beach and campground accessible from Route 1 is the place for tranquillity. Spanning 3 mi of shoreline that fronts and separates Ninigret Pond from the ocean, it's quite a contrast to Narragansett's bustling Scarborough beach. A small portion of the beach is staffed with lifeguards on a seasonal basis. Facilities include composting toilets and changing rooms.
