Kiawah Beachwalker Park

Kiawah Beachwalker Park Review

The public park about 28 miles southwest of Charleston has an ample 500-foot-wide beach. Kiawah is one of the Southeast's most physically beautiful and largest barrier islands, with 10 miles of wide, immaculate ocean beach. Crime is a rarity here, and you can walk safely for miles, shelling and beachcombing. The beach is complemented by the Kiawah River, with lagoons filled with birds and wildlife, and golden marshes that make the sunsets even more glorious. Amenities: lifeguards (seasonal); food and drink; toilets; showers. Best for: solitude; sunset; swimming; walking.
