Funky steel cutouts liven up outside and inside walls, and quirky lights hang low over tables. A varied list of appetizers and small plates makes this a great place to graze. Main dishes include pistachio-encrusted duck breast with a cassis glaze or loin of lamb with lingonberry port-wine sauce. Sunday Brunch has heavenly choices like crab cakes Benedict.

My Favorite Restaurant in Mt. Pleasant

I'm really shocked to see bad reviews of J Bistro--maybe because they are Sunday Brunch? In my opinion, the only other restaurant in Mount Pleasant that even comes close is Coco's. I go to JBistro about once a week and make a meal from the appetizer menu. If you're looking for huge volumes of mediocre food that you could cook at home, go elsewhere.

J Bistro Mount Pleasant SC

I did not like the way the rude waiter treated me. He was acting as if he was doing me a huge favor to bring me coffee and juice at Sunday Brunch. He was unpleasant and very unhappy. He did not make me feel welcome and I will never go back there. $15/person for that brunch and the terrible service was too much. I had to beg him to refill my coffee and bring me juice. He was a pain in the neck.
